CRUSADER

Holstein, 1.70 m, 2003, line 628B

Breeder: Okke Peeters, Tettenbull (D)

Crusader is licensed by the German sportshorse.
Sire of the 2003 licensed Crusader is the world famous stallion Cassini I. Cassini I himself had a successful international jumping career under Franke Sloothaak. He won, for example, the Grand Prix of Arnhem and the Nations Cups in Aachen and Helsinki. The sport performance of his offspring is as impressive. Examples of Cassini I’s products successful at the highest level in the showjumping sport are: Carino (Ulrich Kirchhoff), Charmander (Ulrich Kirchhoff), Cumano (Jos Lansink) and Ingmar.
The Dam of Crusader is named: Hanne (Lucky Lionell x Caretino) out of the line of Carino 628B, ridden by Ulrich Kirchhoff.
Crusader was appreciated at the stallion selection for his fine conformation, his presence and good movements. Especially his superb canter, in which the stallion showed extreme balance, had a very powerful jump and used his hind very well. After his 70 day’s test in Munster Handorf. It has all the appearance that Crusader will easily live up to the promise of his pedigree.
